No candidate left without screening

We rebuilt candidate screening for Jobi, and the system proved durable enough to spin out as its own company, Validate Talent AI.

The client. Jobi, a recruiting company in Chile.

The problem. Screening volume outran the team. Recruiters screened the applications that fit in the day, which meant strong candidates went unread, pipelines thinned, and time to hire stretched.

Why it was hard. Screening is where automation usually breaks: résumés arrive in every format, job requirements shift by role, and a bad automated “no” costs a real candidate. The system had to handle the exceptions, and it had to hold a bar recruiters trusted.

What we did. We redesigned the screening workflow first, then built the system: an AI screener integrated into the applicant tracking system, scoring every application against the role with written reasoning, and routing edge cases to a person.

Before
Recruiters screened what fit in the day
After
Every candidate screened, recruiters review a ranked, reasoned shortlist

What happened next. The system outlived the engagement: it was spun out as Validate Talent AI, a standalone company. That's what “still accountable after launch” looks like when it goes well – the thing keeps running without us in the room.
